About Kotton Fields Preschool

Kotton Fields Preschool has been in the business of shaping the young minds since its establishment in 2018. Inspired by visits to Waldorf schools, Reggio Emilia Exhibition Centre, and botanical gardens, we have created a world where children can learn and play in a natural environment. After completing Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) in 2019, we are proud to welcome our first set of students. Despite the disruptions caused by the pandemic we were able to come up with our own solution in the form of homeschooling as well as ‘Practivity Kits’ to ensure that learning at home is both fun and effective.
The curriculum of the school focuses on the overall development of the child including his or her cognitive, physical and social development. Gardening and art classes which are part of our curriculum help the child to be creative and learn through practical activities and our library which was established in 2022 has helped in the development of language and literacy skills and more specifically in encouraging children to read and share books with their parents. Cleanliness and good manners and basic readiness are our main principles. In this regard, using wet chalk on slates is a creative way to help children to improve their motor skills and at the same time have fun while learning. Storytelling, rhymes and other interactive sessions also help in the development of language and social interaction.

Parents have always given us feedback(link text to parents testimonial) on the positive changes they have seen in their children in terms of independence, behavior and even diet, all this in the healthy environment that we provide. In the future, we are looking forward to expanding our presence and offering new interesting projects that would help children to discover the world and gain knowledge. We believe that with our professional team every child will get the best preparation for further education.
